What is HDT's Lucky Wheel?

A spin-to-win wheel for sites with Wix Stores, with a free plan for your home page and the lowest paid plan of the first nine apps the App Market lists for "spin wheel", at $4.90 a month⁵. It's the first result when you search the App Market for "lucky wheel"¹.

Best for: A low-priced wheel for a Wix store⁵
Free plan: 15,000 visits on the home page only, with a "Powered by HDT" watermark⁵
Paid from: $4.90 a month, or $3.90 billed yearly (Premium: every page, unlimited prizes)⁵
How it installs on Wix: Wix App Market; needs Wix Stores⁵
Wix plan needed: Any Wix plan, per its listing⁵
Where codes come from: Not stated
Checked: October 5, 2026

Premium covers more. Every page, unlimited prizes and form items, your own pictures and no watermark⁵.
Six app languages: English, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Spanish, and its listing says all of the app's text on your site can be translated⁵.
Few reviews so far, and its listing doesn't say where prize codes come from or whether every spin wins⁵.

A third app, Salesdish Lucky Wheel, also uses the name. It's free for sites with Wix Stores and lets you set the chance of winning⁷; it's in our spin wheel app comparison.

Where Spin Wheel is different

Best for: Prize games on Wix stores, with your own coupons as prizes
Free plan: Free forever: unlimited pop-ups and sign-ups, with every game; no branding
Paid from: None: Spin Wheel is free forever
How it installs on Wix: Wix App Market; needs Wix Stores
Wix plan needed: Not confirmed yet
Where codes come from: Your store's own coupons, one per prize, shared by everyone who wins it
Checked: October 5, 2026

Every spin wins. Our servers draw one of your prizes from the odds you set, and the shopper's browser only plays the animation.
Prizes are your store's own coupons. Each prize uses one of your Wix store's coupons, so a winner's code works at checkout under the rules on that coupon. Everyone who wins a prize shares its code, so give each prize coupon an end date and a limit of one use per customer.
Three games in one app. A scratch card and a gift box use the same prizes and odds as the wheel.
Free forever, with no branding, no caps and exit intent on desktop and phone.

Where a Lucky Wheel goes further: Spin Wheel has no repeat-play checks, so a new browser or a private window can play again, and unlike Smartarget's, it needs Wix Stores.

Switching from Lucky Wheel

Add Spin Wheel from the Wix App Market and pick a design that AI drafts from your store.
Make a store coupon for each prize you gave out with Lucky Wheel, then set the odds. Our guide to creating a coupon code in Wix Stores covers end dates and one use per customer.
Turn off the Lucky Wheel pop-up on the same pages, so visitors see one offer at a time.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is Smartarget Lucky Wheel free?

It has a free plan that shows the wheel on your home page only, with a "Powered by Smartarget" message. Pro, at $7.50 a month or $6.25 billed yearly, shows it on every page without the message, and Smartarget bills it rather than Wix. Its listing also says it needs a Premium Wix site.

Is Smartarget Lucky Wheel legit?

It's a real app from Smartarget on the Wix App Market, with a Verified by Wix badge and a 4.8 rating from 61 reviews when we checked on October 5, 2026. Its Pro plan is billed by Smartarget, not through your Wix account, and its listing says it needs a Premium Wix site. Read its newest reviews on the listing before you install.

What's the difference between the two Lucky Wheel apps?

Smartarget's needs a Premium Wix site but no other Wix app, has 61 reviews and lets the store choose whether everyone wins. HDT's needs Wix Stores, has 3 reviews and the lower paid price, $4.90 a month. Both free plans show the wheel on the home page only, with the maker's branding.

Can every spin win with Lucky Wheel?

With Smartarget's, if you set it up that way: its guide says the store can let everyone win or only some visitors, and its setup screen marks each slice lucky or not. HDT's listing doesn't say. In Spin Wheel, every spin wins one of your prizes.

Does Lucky Wheel need Wix Stores?

HDT's does. Smartarget's listing names no other Wix app it needs, but it does need a Premium Wix site. Spin Wheel needs Wix Stores.
