What is Spin Wheel?
An app for Wix stores that adds spin-to-win, scratch-card and gift-box pop-ups, plus a classic email pop-up. Prizes are real coupons from your store and sign-ups go to your contacts.
Do I need any code?
No. Add the app from the Wix App Market and pick a design.
What do I need to install it?
A Wix site with Wix Stores, because prizes are real coupons that Spin Wheel creates in your store.
How does the AI design work?
It drafts pop-ups from your products, colors, fonts and tone. You preview them on your own pages, keep the one you like and edit anything afterwards.
Can shoppers lose?
No. Every spin, scratch or box wins one of your prizes. Decoy slices are shown but never landed on.
Who decides the prize?
Our servers, using the odds you set. The shopper's browser only shows the animation, so results can't be rigged.
Do shoppers sign up before or after they play?
By default they play first and sign up to claim their prize. You can ask for the email first instead.
How long can a shopper claim a prize?
24 hours after it's revealed, by default. You can change that.
Can I collect phone numbers for texts?
Yes, with a separate SMS consent box. Only shoppers who tick it are signed up for texts.
Does Spin Wheel send emails or texts?
It emails each winner a backup copy of their code. It doesn't send marketing emails or texts; use your own tools or myuser.ai.
When does the pop-up show?
After a delay (five seconds by default), on scroll, after a few pages, or on exit intent, on desktop and phone.
Can't I just use Wix's built-in pop-ups?
You can. Wix's built-in pop-ups, once called lightboxes, open on the pages you choose, after an optional delay, or from a linked button. Wix's help center says a Wix Editor pop-up can't currently open when a visitor is about to leave. How much does it cost?
Free for one pop-up and 200 sign-ups a month. Pro is $10 a month for unlimited pop-ups and 500 sign-ups, then 5¢ each. See pricing.
Is my shoppers' data safe?
We collect only what shoppers enter and what's needed to run the pop-up, and we don't sell personal information. See our privacy policy.
